We serve all of Hampton Roads. A non-refundable retainer is required to reserve your date, and the balance is due before your session.

Secure your session date and time. This retainer is applied to your total package price.

  • This $100 retainer is non-refundable.
  • It is required to reserve your date on the calendar.
  • Rescheduling: You may transfer this retainer *one time* if you reschedule at least 48 hours *before* your session date.
  • Forfeiture: Cancellations or rescheduling requests made *within* 48 hours of the session will forfeit the retainer.

*For Portrait, Maternity, Newborn, & Kids sessions. Event Coverage has a separate $250 retainer.

  • The final balance is due on or before your session day.
  • By paying, you agree to these terms.

Understanding Composite Options

Creative Add-On ($60)

This adds a composite edit to an image from a standard session (like Deluxe or Signature). It has limitations:

  • Applied to an *existing* portrait.
  • Does **not** include dedicated creative planning.
  • Does **not** include specialty lighting for a composite.

Best for: Enhancing a great portrait with a new background or effect.

Composite Creation Session ($350)

This is a dedicated session designed from the ground up for high-end artwork:

  • Includes concept consultation & planning.
  • Session time is focused on capturing elements for the art.
  • Uses specific lighting & posing for the final image.

Best for: Fantasy, surreal, or story-driven statement pieces.

Helpful Notes for Kids Sessions

For sessions involving children under 5, please keep the following in mind:

  • Best Time: Morning slots are always recommended for well-rested kiddos.
  • Snacks & Toys: Feel free to bring a favorite (non-messy) snack, drink, or toy to help them feel comfortable.
  • Patience is Key: Our kids' packages include buffer time for them to warm up. We follow their lead!
  • Composites: Included composites are artistic upgrades and count toward the total number of delivered images.

On-Location Shoots & Event Coverage

Bring Motiontography to your chosen venue! Here is the policy for on-location sessions.

On-Location Upgrade Policy

On-location services are an upgrade added to eligible packages (via the toggle switch above). Event Coverage is inherently on-location.

On-Location Fee Structure

  • Inside Hampton Roads 7 Cities: Fee included in the "On-Location" toggle price above. (Suffolk, Chesapeake, Portsmouth, Norfolk, VB, Hampton, NN). Included for Event Coverage.
  • Outside the 7 Cities: Additional travel fee of $1.25/mile (Round-Trip) applies.
  • Client Responsibility (Venue/Location Fees): You are responsible for any entry fees, specific parking fees, or photography permits required by the location.

The Fine Print (Booking Policies)

  • Retainer: A **$100 non-refundable retainer** is required for most portrait sessions ($250 for Events). This secures your date and is applied to your package total.
  • Rescheduling: The retainer is transferable *one time* if you provide at least 48 hours' notice before your session.
  • Cancellations: Cancellations or rescheduling within 48 hours of the session date will forfeit the retainer.
  • Final Balance: The remaining balance is due on or before the day of your session.
  • Image Delivery: Via private, downloadable online gallery.
  • Add-on Limits: The `Classic Portrait` & `Kids Mini` packages are limited to their stated max extra images. All other packages offer unlimited add-ons.
