How much is the 2026 Christmas photo special?

Christmas Storybook costs $350 for a 45-minute studio session, up to four people, one outfit and three finished digital Christmas composites. The $100 retainer counts toward your total. The remaining $250 is due before your session.

Where are the Christmas photo sessions?

Roger photographs your session in the appointment-only Motiontography studio in Suffolk, Virginia. The studio welcomes families from across Hampton Roads, including Chesapeake, Virginia Beach, Norfolk, Portsmouth, Hampton, Newport News and Williamsburg. The exact studio address is shared after booking is confirmed.

Are the Christmas backdrops real sets?

The Christmas backgrounds are digital. Roger photographs you in the studio, then blends your portrait into a holiday scene during editing. A snowy forest, fireplace or oversized gift in a finished photo is not a physical set you will stand in.

What exactly are the three images?

You choose three portraits from your session. Each becomes one finished digital Christmas composite. These are three final images, not three full galleries. You receive full-resolution digital files. Prints and holiday cards are separate.

Can I bring my children or the whole family?

The $350 collection includes up to four people, including children. Larger families are welcome to ask Roger for a separate quote. Please share the number of adults and children, plus the children’s ages, when you get in touch.

What should we wear?

Choose one outfit per person. Matching pajamas, rich reds, deep greens and dressed-up holiday looks all photograph beautifully. Bring the outfit you want to wear; wardrobe is not included in this collection.

Can we request a different Christmas scene?

Yes — share your idea with Roger before booking. He’ll review what is possible and confirm the plan and any price change with you first.

When will we get our photos?

Your finished images are ready in 5 business days after you choose your final portraits. Have a holiday-card deadline? Check with Roger before booking. Delivery by Christmas is not guaranteed.

How does payment work?

The collection is $350. Book Now opens this Christmas special with the $100 retainer selected. Choose your date and review the total and booking terms before paying through Square. The remaining $250 is due before the session. Extra finished composites are $60 each. Opening the booking page does not charge you or reserve a date.
