Retainers and Booking
A standard session date is reserved with a $100 non-refundable retainer, which applies toward the total session price. Event coverage may use a separate retainer policy. Wedding photography and wedding videography require a consultation first; Roger will confirm availability and send the proper invoice or retainer link before a wedding date is held.
Payment Plans
Payment plans are available for most sessions. After the retainer is paid, the remaining balance may be paid in installments at your own pace. The balance must be paid in full before or on the session day unless Roger approves a different written arrangement.
Accepted Payments
Motiontography accepts card, cash, Zelle, Cash App, Apple Pay, and other approved digital payment methods. Card and digital payments may be processed through third-party payment providers connected to the booking or invoice flow.
Rescheduling
Rescheduling is allowed one time when requested at least 3 days before the session. The new session date must take place within 60 days. If the rescheduled date falls beyond 60 days, a new retainer may be required.
Cancellations and No-Shows
Cancellations made within 3 days of the session forfeit the $100 retainer. If a session was paid in full and is cancelled, the refund is issued minus the $100 cancellation fee/retainer. If a client does not arrive and does not contact Motiontography, the session is considered a no-show, all payments made are forfeited, and a new retainer is required to book again.
Weather
For outdoor or on-location sessions, heavy rain, strong winds, unsafe conditions, or weather that would materially affect the session may require rescheduling at no additional penalty. Clients may also choose to switch to a studio session when appropriate.
Session Time and Extra Time
Session durations vary by package. Extra time is package-specific, quoted before approval, and only possible if the schedule permits. Please book the package that gives your session the time it needs.
Images, Galleries, and Delivery
Each package lists its included image count, editing level, turnaround, and gallery details. Additional retouched images, rush turnaround, and composite edits may be available where eligible and are priced separately.
